VP Disposal is a fast-growing disposal company, servicing Calgary and surrounding areas. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. We are looking for a fun, easy-going dispatcher with a positive attitude to join our team. Having an outgoing personality on the phone and through email is important, as we want you to build relationships with the customers that call in. This is a full-time in-office position, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, or Tuesday to Saturday.
The role is 50% dispatching customer requests, 50% administrative support tasks, such as data entry, scanning, filing and assisting team members with other tasks as time permits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for answering the phone and emails to take customer requests and enter into our Business Management Program. The requests are dispatched to the drivers through an app they have on their phones.
Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using BaseStation, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks Online
- Organize and file documents both physically and electronically, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality
- Accounts Receivable tasks such as calling for payments, and entering payments into QBO
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors via phone & email
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), QuickBooks, and data entry software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Attention to detail for proofreading and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to type efficiently with a high degree of accuracy
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or basic financial tasks is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills combined with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Previous scheduling experience is a requirement
- Knowledge of the city and region is an asset
- Understanding and experience with roll-off bin, portable toilet and fencing services is an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Written and verbal proficiency in English
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
This position plays a vital role in supporting daily office functions while providing excellent service to clients and team members. We welcome candidates who are proactive, dependable, and eager to contribute to our professional environment.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
