The role:
Reporting to the Director level, Marketing, the Marketing Manager is responsible for achieving the Company's short and long-term marketing strategies through the strategic planning and execution of various national/regional marketing campaigns and projects. The position is also responsible for using applicable marketing channels in accomplishing all required marketing deliverables.
Major Responsibilities:
Customer Lifecycle Development
- Responsible for developing the user growth/retention strategy, integrating the internal and external resources through the market analysis, and integrating the user growth strategy execution with the merchandising, store operation and eCommerce teams.
- Responsible for customer lifecycle development, find business opportunity and output targeted operational strategies, and promote implementation in day-to-day marketing activities.
- Be sensitive to data, good at using data analysis to gain T&T customer insight into the user's current situation, segmentation profile, shopping behavior and support decision-making.
- Be good at user identification and hierarchical initiatives for different latitudes such as user profile, channel basket, registration, repeat purchase, consumption, able to diagnose and analyze user activity through DAU, MAU and other user activity indicators and provide targeted customer strategy.
Digital Marketing
- Familiar with CRM tools and ability to build analytics, tracking tools, reporting dashboard and optimization, with good business acumen, sensitive to market and competitor strategy, be able to take quick actions.
- Develop customer marketing strategy and deploy campaigns across digital marketing tools, email marketing, social media, and marketing communication channels on user personas and user purchase journeys, with a focus on acquiring and retaining high CLV customers.
- Strategic overview for marketing and social media planning & day-to-day execution, develop SEO/SEM related initiatives and be actively involved in SEO optimization efforts.
Advertising & Promotion
- Develop and coordinate the implementation of marketing strategies and activities related to the company's national brand. Including, but not limited to event marketing, product management, loyalty programs, and target marketing campaigns.
- Develop promotional and advertising plans for stores and online eCommerce with innovative designs and creative promotional concepts to deliver sales/marketing objectives.
- Support business units on key initiatives, and provide communication support and counsel to executive and functional business areas.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 8 years' marketing experience, retail, digital or eCommerce background is an asset.
- Proven success in branding, marketing strategy, advertising, and solid experience in retail industry.
- Completion of bachelor's degree in business, with focus on marketing or communications preferred.
- Experience in working within a demanding fast-paced or retail environment, and knowledge in online/offline customer insight will be an asset.
- Demonstrated good leadership with ability to engage and develop team members.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication, copywriting, proofreading skills in both English and Chinese, creatives and innovative with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Optimistic and realistic, full of passion, full of positive energy.
