We are looking for a
Receiver
to join our day shift. This individual will work primarily on custom stainless steel projects for food industry projects.
Shift Hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound quality checks on shipments
- Verify packing list to physical quantities received. Investigate discrepancies in count, quality etc
- Notify purchasing of packing list discrepancies or damaged product
- Unloading trucks, putting materials to the proper location
- Putting job components together in job kits for Assembly
- Receive materials into ERP in a timely manner including scanning packing list documents and attaching to the purchase order
- Work closely with Assembly and Fabrication to flag and follow up with Purchasing on parts halting production
- Picking spare parts orders
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Completion of High School or equivalent
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, professional attitude
- Excellent organizational / time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers
- You operate with a team spirit, not with ego; you want everyone, including yourself, to do their best work; you see your success as dependent on the success of the team
- You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues
- You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately
- You are a straight shooter who gets to the point and can clearly communicate in both oral and written form
Assets:
- Previous experience in Shipping Receiving
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience in custom fab or automation
