This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility:

- Responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments, as well as outgoing shipments.
- Safe use of forklift to unload and load shipments
- Receive incoming packages and perform inspections of goods received.
- Sort, distribute and put away incoming shipments
- Review orders prior to processing. Note any discrepancies and bring them to the attention of the production manager
- Pick and pack parts and materials for shipping
- Prepare all necessary documentation for shipments not limited to but including shipping labels, Bills of Lading, customs documents etc.
- Review all necessary paperwork to ensure information included with the shipment is accurate to not impede the delivery process or cause uncertainty at the Customer’s receiving location
- Work closely with the Production Manager and Purchaser to ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes and other material handling equipment
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred
- Computer literacy skills including Outlook
- High attention to detail with ability to work independently
- Knowledge of major couriers - FedEx, Purolator, UPS etc. including how to operate their respective software packages

This position is permanent full-time with benefits and employer sponsored RRSP plan.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-3pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
