Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Administrative Assistant to support our team with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This remote position requires excellent computer skills, strong time management, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with office software, data entry, and customer support, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery. It would be beneficial to have experience with insurance claims.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to emails, phone calls, and client inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with submission of insurance claims for Canadian and American clinics
- Supporting clinicians and clinical directors with appointment scheduling, and handling phone systems for several different clinics
- Ensure accuracy and professionalism with data entry and client communications
- Provide customer service support via phone, email, or chat to ensure client satisfaction and to support clinicians, directors and coworkers
- Support administrative projects for various clinics
Experience
- Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office environment
- Must have experience in a clinical environment (Veterinary, Medical, Dental etc)
- Familiarity with scheduling software, and Google Workspace tools
- Experience with data entry and comfortable using different communication systems and applications
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent proofreading skills are preferred
This position offers an opportunity to work remotely in a dynamic environment where organizational skills and technical proficiency are highly valued. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and delivering outstanding support to clients, clinicians and team members alike. The ideal candidate will have an open availability to accommodate some days, afternoons and evenings.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
