Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team. This role is essential for executing various construction and restoration projects, requiring a strong foundation in multiple trades. Duties

The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution
  • Engaging in restoration work to repair and enhance existing structures
  • Installing cabinets with precision and attention to detail
  • Executing construction painting tasks to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Conducting masonry work, including bricklaying and stone setting
  • Installing various flooring types, including tile laying and hardwood flooring
  • Utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks
  • Estimating project requirements and materials accurately for efficient planning
  • Assisting with roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance
  • Applying caulking to seal gaps and joints effectively
  • Lifting heavy materials as required throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborating with team members on assembly tasks for various projects
  • Performing plumbing duties, including installation and repair of fixtures
  • Utilizing electrical experience for minor installations or repairs as needed

Experience

Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in carpentry, woodworking, and general construction practices
  • Familiarity with masonry techniques and materials
  • Hands-on experience with flooring installation methods, including tile laying
  • Knowledge of construction estimating processes for accurate project planning
  • Ability to perform maintenance person tasks across multiple trades, demonstrating versatility
  • Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in a construction environment
