  • General Construction Duties:
  • Dig trenches, pour concrete, and assist in framing and building structures.
  • Perform basic carpentry, painting, and finishing work.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
  • Conduct basic inspections on equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) for demolition work.
  • Sort, load, and dispose of debris and recyclable materials according to site protocols.
  • Assist with site preparation, shoring, and cleanup before and after demolition.
  • Recognize and remedy unsafe work practices and situations.
  • Comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free worksite.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, coworkers, and other trades.
  • Mentor and motivate team members, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Experience: Minimum 1–3 years in construction, with demolition experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient with hand and power tools, Able to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments. Basic understanding of construction plans and safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
