This position provides leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of secure, cost-effective I&IT solutions. The Senior Technical Analyst will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and remediating cyber vulnerabilities (CVE), supporting application and infrastructure security, and ensuring that OPS systems remain resilient and aligned with industry best practices.

ResponsibilitiesCybersecurity & Vulnerability Remediation

  • Provide senior-level technical analysis, research, and coordination of remediation activities for identified CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures).
  • Deploy patches, upgrades, uninstalls, bug fixes, and configuration changes across applications, operating systems, middleware, and database technologies.
  • Identify innovative remediation approaches to address cybersecurity threats and platform vulnerabilities.
  • Advise stakeholders on vulnerability findings, risk implications, and recommended remediation strategies.
  • Support the protection of OPS information assets in alignment with security standards, privacy considerations, and industry best practices.

Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery

  • Provide expertise in the analysis, design, and architecture of secure systems solutions.
  • Lead feasibility studies, cost analyses, and solution evaluations for new and existing applications or technical components.
  • Guide the development, testing, integration, and deployment of systems solutions into client environments.
  • Lead projects through all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, scheduling, resource estimation, technical oversight, and progress reporting.
  • Translate business needs and documentation into accurate and actionable technical specifications.

Application & Database Support

  • Lead teams supporting relational and multi-dimensional databases, as well as Java, Citrix, and GIS technologies.
  • Design and develop complex applications utilizing relational and multi-dimensional data structures.
  • Provide implementation and post-implementation support to ensure system stability and performance.

Technical Evaluation & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the assessment and selection of software, hardware, and technology solutions, particularly as they relate to cybersecurity and vulnerability remediation.
  • Recommend improvements to tools, methodologies, standards, and performance criteria for application development.
  • Ensure all recommended solutions align with project goals and organizational objectives.

Collaboration & Coaching

  • Work closely with internal OPS teams and external vendors to ensure effective communication, coordination, and technical alignment.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts throughout all stages of SDLC and project execution.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience assessing and remediating cyber vulnerabilities, especially CVEs.
  • Knowledge of RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodologies.
  • Experience with middleware, gateways, and multi-tiered system architectures.
  • Understanding of Information Management principles, policies, and practices.
  • Experience developing and maintaining documentation in alignment with approved methodologies.
  • Knowledge of dimensions, facts, and multi-dimensional structures (e.g., cubes).
