Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food products
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitation tasks

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience with meal preparation and handling various types of food
