Role Impact:

The Community Engagement Coordinator will support the Community Engagement Manager in the execution of community engagement strategies and marketing initiatives for Office properties. This role involves assisting with the planning, coordination, and implementation of client engagement activities, events, and communications to maximize tenant engagement and market awareness. This role works closely with office property teams and assists in maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and Office tenants.

What you will deliver:

Events & Engagement Execution:

  • Participate in the planning and lead the coordination and execution of event marketing initiatives, such as broker and client events and placemaking, to promote the CF corporate profile.
  • Assist with the planning and facilitation of local engagement strategies, tactics, and programs to deliver meaningful business results.
  • Help coordinate and facilitate client engagement activities and events in conjunction with the General Manager and office property teams.
  • Help facilitate client relationships by encouraging client participation in property marketing.
  • Assist in acting as a liaison with community outreach programs.

Communications, Content & Digital:

  • In partnership with the property and leasing teams, coordinate the development of client communication and presentations. This includes participating in strategy development meetings, gathering relevant information from internal stakeholders, and working through agencies to finalize materials.
  • Create content, including text posts, videos, and images, for use on social media and promote services and content consistent with the brand and social media strategy.
  • Support the development and execution of local marketing programs in collaboration with Cadillac Fairview's (CF's) social media and Corporate Communications teams.
  • Provide input into communications strategy creative, production, and media planning for initiatives related to the Office asset class.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure website content is current and maintain Cadillac Fairview Office's online presence.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute ongoing updates to foundational marketing materials in collaboration with various internal stakeholders.

Reporting, Analysis & Budget Support:

  • Support the collection and preparation of data for reporting on key metrics to measure the performance of engagement activities and the annual plan.
  • Assist with pre- and post-event analysis, including assessing opportunities and making recommendations for improving service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the tracking and monitoring of the annual event/marketing budget and expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Client Support & Partnerships:

  • Support the Community Manager, VP, Office Leasing, and General Manager in maintaining ongoing dialogue with office clients for relationship management.
  • Provide client service support by assisting with proactive solutions and timely responses to relevant comments, helping to mitigate potential issues and risks.
  • Assist in identifying and leveraging opportunities for partnership solutions to maintain property visibility.
  • Help ensure all engagement activities align with the property's brand strategy.

What you need to succeed:

  • Post-secondary education preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or related studies considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a community engagement, marketing, communications, or public relations role.
  • Knowledge of community outreach, marketing, digital media, and budget tracking.
  • Knowledge and experience with planning events an asset.
  • Proficient with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, or similar type of software, is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered be an asset
