Lynchpin Technologies is currently accepting resumes for a Project Procurement Specialist.
This is a full-time remote role for a Project Procurement Specialist. The Project Procurement Specialist will manage purchase orders, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure procurement processes align with organization goals. Key responsibilities include supplier relationship management, maintaining procurement documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the project management team in ensuring all required purchasing is processed.
- Assist with budget setting, administration and reconciliation
- Ensure that all purchasing activities align with the build schedule and that products are delivered and all scheduling milestones are met.
- Ensuring all purchasing related activities are completed in accordance to company standards.
- Negotiating cost effective arrangements with suppliers
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and actively participate in parts management.
- Timely reporting and follow up on all ongoing purchases.
- Administering all day-to-day activities associated with the procurement function.
Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience supporting drilling and service rig construction
- Previous buyer experience with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience with an MRP system(s)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Prior use and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience with Sage Accounting would be considered an asset
- Home based work area with adequate internet
About the position:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Term Contract: Approximately 18 months with the possibility of extension
- Home based Alberta position (Calgary area preferred)
- Must have your own transportation
- Local travel required 3-5 days a week (Calgary and Linden)
- Travel outside of city of residence to be reimburse by the company
