Bilingual Operations Admin

Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. is a newer manufacturing facility in Brantford, and we require a Bilingual (English/Japanese) Operations Admin to join our team. There is huge potential for future growth due to our state of the art technology in the ever growing ecofriendly vehicles market.

Job Description:

As a key member of the Operations team, the Operations Administrator is responsible for providing support to the Operational team in an administrative nature.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation, as required
  • Meeting interpretation
  • Translate Ringi purchase requests
  • Complete daily and weekly production/operational reports
  • Pre meeting translation/interpretation prep
  • Data entry, analysis and reporting as assigned by the Operations team
  • Document control support
  • Assistance with task management and reporting of overdue items via the company's ERP system
  • Project team member as assigned for Operational projects
  • Support Company Health & Safety policies
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent desired
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multi-task
  • Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
  • High computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Superior attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Professional appearance and manners
  • Bilingual English/Japanese required
