We are a growing team working together to manufacture our product and expand our production capabilities located in Richmond, BC. The work environment is dynamic and friendly.

We're looking for a personable and technically skilled engineer to lead our production expansion and manage our production operations. We enjoy a supportive and productive work environment and value team members with a 'let's get it done' attitude who encourage others to do their best.

The job would involve expanding our production capacity by:

  • Multiplying our production capacity over the next 6 months
  • Designing and building assembly equipment including:
  • Automated cutting machines
  • Textile bonding and gluing
  • Assembly work cells
  • Analyzing current production processes and developing strategies for process improvement and optimization.
  • Planning future growth of inventory storage, material flow, production line design and production capacity.
  • Lead junior engineers or co-op students.

You would also manage the day-to-day production operations including:

  • Manage and grow our excellent team of production technicians.
  • Manage the production output plan and deliverables.
  • Work with engineers on inventory planning and quality control.

We would like the candidate to:

  • have skill in building and assembling mechanical and electrical systems
  • be comfortable working with hand tools and light manufacturing equipment
  • have ability to observe a process and identify areas of improvement
  • be organized with strong attention to detail
  • have a positive attitude and an aptitude that leads to learning and growth
  • be able to get along with a wide variety of people providing clear direction
  • have work experience in a production environment
  • have experience designing in 3D CAD
  • easily and clearly communicate in English

Hours & Availability

  • In-office (Richmond, BC)
  • Monday to Friday generally but hours can be flexible
