Business Development Manager – Canada
Anderson Vacations is seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role focuses on strengthening our relationships with travel agencies and consortia across Canada, particularly in Western Canada and Ontario. We are expanding our B2B presence as part of our 2026 Sales & Marketing Strategy.

Role Description
The Business Development Manager - Travel is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, or a remote role, depending on the ideal candidate. The responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth, building and maintaining relationships with travel partners and clients (conduct targeted agency visits, calls, or virtual meetings per month), and identifying new business opportunities. The role will involve conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and creating proposals to achieve sales targets. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings, deliver exceptional service, and represent Anderson Vacations at industry events and conferences.

You Are
- Experienced in travel or tourism sales (3–5 years as a minimum).
- A strong communicator and relationship builder.
- Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven.
- You are a travel enthusiast with boundless energy and a strong work ethic.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, handling multiple tasks under pressure.
- You have strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
- Comfortable working remotely and travelling across Canada.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry, particularly in North America, Oceania, and the South Pacific.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, conduct research, and develop strategic growth plans.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and relevant digital tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes and attend industry events.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field is an asset.
