Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
  • Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
  • Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach
  • Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
  • Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing products, and ensuring proper signage for easy shopping navigation

Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store or similar environments
  • Omvic license required
  • 1 year minimum sales experience needed.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, including bilingual proficiency a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and responsibly
  • Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required
  • Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math principles is beneficial
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions
