Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and possess strong data entry and analysis skills. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting both human resources and financial functions to ensure smooth business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify accounts payable invoices using accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Maintain accurate data entry for all financial transactions
  • Assist with payroll processing and related HR functions
  • Prepare reports and analyze financial data to support decision-making
  • Support month-end closing activities and audit preparations
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to payments or receivables

Experience

  • Proven experience with accounting software, QuickBooks or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Experience with account reconciliation and bookkeeping practices
  • Familiarity with payroll systems
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret financial data effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

This role is integral to maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring precise processing of payments and receivables while supporting broader human resources functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,399.52-$59,940.71 per year
