Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and possess strong data entry and analysis skills to maintain efficient financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices for payment using accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts receivable by generating customer invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions through data entry and bookkeeping practices
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and reporting
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare reports related to accounts payable/receivable activities for management review

Experience

  • Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Experience in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and data entry within a finance environment
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately
