Your main focus as an Assistant Manager is contributing to the success of our store by promoting a positive shopping experience for each client, building and maintaining meaningful longterm relationships. You will contribute to increasing sales and customer satisfaction while maintaining a visually appealing shopping environment. You will contribute to optimizing inventory management through shipment processing, sales floor replenishment and eCom order fulfillment. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for fashion and a genuine desire to engage with our clients to help them find unique pieces that make them look and feel amazing
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily store operations to ensure efficiency and exemplary customer service
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage team performance by providing guidance, training, and support to staff members
- Responsible for maintaining store aesthetics at all times; merchandising, front facing and cleaning of sales floor as needed
- Contribute to optimizing inventory management through shipment processing, sales floor replenishment and eCom order fulfillment
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system effectively to process orders and payments
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cash handling procedures
Requirements
- 2 years of recent retail experience is an asset
- 1 year of recent experience as an Assistant Manager
- Must possess an enthusiasm for and knowledge of fashion & styling for all body types and ages
- Has strong problem solving skills and decision making abilities
- An engaging and positive attitude
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build relationships
- Demonstrates effective time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Loves to keep things organized
- A hands on leader and teammate with a focus on motivation and a proactive approach to tasks
- Has the ability to work in a fast paced environment, while delivering an exceptionally high level of attention and service
- Strong Visual Merchandising skills with the ability to create an aesthetically pleasing shopping environment
- Social Media Skills and an interest in content creation are an asset
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per staffing needs
