Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and organized expierenced Dental Receptionist to join our family dental practice. Dental Reception expierence 1-2 years . A Dental Receptionist plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of a dental office; we are looking for someone who can provide an amazingly positive patient experience by providing excellent customer service, maintain an efficient schedule, manage digital patient records and handle administrative tasks. Our ideal candidate will be dependable and have a high level of organizational and communication skills.

Office hours Mon-Wed 8:30am-4:30pm and Thursday 12pm-8pm. 4 day work week

Duties

  • Greeting and updating patient admin records upon arrival, New Patient intake
  • Managing patient communications(-phone, email, text )
  • Maintaining schedule (booking appointments, rescheduling, last min changes)
  • Payment processing, direct billing, predeterminations, A/R management and communications with insurance companies.
  • Preparing deposits & reports with accuracy, invoice payments
  • Maintain a neat & organized front desk/reception area.

Skills /Qualifications

  • Previous dental admin/ reception experience. Preferably 1-2 yr min. Only candidates with Dental experience will be contacted.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly organized & detail oriented, with ability to manage time effectively and multitask. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Dental software experience a requirement- Maxident software an asset. Training available.
  • Excellent computer skills. Experience with word, excel. The office is completely digital.
