Dental Receptionist

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations effectively.
- Handle incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Maintain patient records accurately using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Process patient payments and insurance claims in accordance with office policies.
- Educate patients regarding the dental procedures and make finanical agrement with patients and collect the payments as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support overall office functions.
**Skills**
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a DENTAL OFFICE is preferred. DENTAL ASSISTING experience is preferred.
- Proficient in using phone systems and managing multiple lines effectively.
- Familiarity with electronic dental records systems, particularly Dentrix is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
