CannDelta is spearheaded by former Health Canada agents with a growing team of consultants from academic and pharma backgrounds. CannDelta is a vibrant company in a new field that is disrupting the cannabis and psychedelics services space. We are launching several exciting campaigns over the next year and we require a detail-oriented, quantitative, and creative mind to help us to execute.POSITION INFORMATIONJob Title: Account ExecutiveDepartment: Business Development & Sales (BSD)Job Location: Toronto (downtown)Reports To: Sales & Operations ManagerDirect Reports: Business Development RepresentativeJob Level: AccountsDate Reviewed: October 20th, 2025JOB PURPOSETo help drive company revenue by creating and leveraging relationships within the cannabis, psychedelics, and pharmaceutical industry.Develop and execute strong regional plans with cross-functional support. Key objective to build customized stakeholder engagement plans that drive best-in-class service, engagements, and impact.Drive revenue by achieving all sales/marketing objectives and territory goals. Listen with the goal of solving all customer challenges.Develop a deep understanding of the Canadian and US cannabis frameworks and establish superior working relationships with key opinion industry leaders, including all relevant stakeholders, in the assigned region.Proactively discuss/share opportunities across the business and with head office.Constantly seek new and innovative customer engagement tactics.Operate with a high level of professional integrity and ethics and upholds organizational values.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLearn the key stakeholders in your territory, understand their local regulatory requirements and potential sources of problems, offer solutions that lead to consulting contracts from a team of trained and highly qualified academicsTravel to conferences and tradeshows in your territory to showcase the Company brand and to create awareness of servicesFollow-up on inbound leads and find creative ways to outsource for prospective leadsBe a master collaborator with cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific, medical, and commercial teams and who shares expertise with others.Maintain a passion for understanding the needs of customers and accounts combined with a demonstrated ability to develop strong, value-added relationships. Demonstrated learning agility as shown by past success when encountering new situations.Exhibit a positive, never give up attitude with comfort navigating ambiguity. You make things happen.The ability to persevere, adapt, and focus on solutions when encountering obstacles.Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and get clarification, and present effectively.Willing to travel over across Canada and the US, which will include semi-regular day or overnight travel; driver's licence in good standing is a must.Create sales strategy and execution details; with a strong understanding of our value proposition, you work cross-functionally to help build your sales strategy that supports our aggressive growth targets and expansion into new markets.You work to organize and mobilize internal and external resources to execute on the plan. You provide regular updates to the co-founders and can identify early on if there is a barrier to the sales team achieving their goals.EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSA Bachelors in Business, Life Sciences or a related field; if you have an alternative route to this knowledge please apply and be willing to share strategiesFive (5) years working in a quota carrying position with at least two (2) years of experience in life sciences or professional services.Valid passport and Class 5 Drivers licence, a Nexus card/US Passport is a strong asset.Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other related softwareADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSBackground in a regulated industry/pharmaceutical/life sciences is a strong asset, with demonstrated skills to quickly understand the intent, interpretation and application of relevant legislation and regulations.REQUIRED COMPETENCIESWorld-class attitude and personality; you will be working with a highly educated, intelligent group of consultants.
