Description
Our is seeking an Intermediate Procurement Specialist (non-IT) to analyze and refine business and technical requirements, translating them into detailed RFX solicitation documents. The successful candidate may also contribute to the initial planning stages to determine how projects will be delivered.
This is a fully onsite role. Candidate must work Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills
- Relevant post-secondary education in areas of supply chain, procurement, business or a related field, Acceptable education includes degrees, diplomas and certificates (minimum 2 year diploma).
- 2 years of experience editing documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro, or similar PDF editing software
- 4 years of experience independently performing activities related to developing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Negotiated Requests for Proposals (NFRPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), negotiations, evaluation, supplier feedback, and contract execution
- 4 years of experience in public sector procurement processes including an understanding of trade agreements and competitive bid law.
Nice To Have Skills
- Completion of SCMP or other equivalent courses and associated certificates.
- 2 years of experience proofing and formatting word documents in a work setting.
- 2 years of experience using SAP and Ariba for contract workspace management.
- 2 years of experience with tender systems (E-bidding).
- 2 years of experience using Microsoft Outlook for email messaging, task and calendar tracking, and other relevant, efficient features.
- 2 years' experience using basic Excel skills in a work setting
