**Role description**:
Arcadis is looking to hire Canada Procurement Specialist who will function as a key member of the l Source-to-Invoice with strong support to the Direct and Indirect procurement teams in North America. The Procurement Specialist will focus on supporting the region, working through complex and/or language dependent issues, and supporting Oracle procure-to-pay implementation, continuous improvement and ancillary Procure-to-Pay programs. Additionally, the Procurement Specialist will identify suppliers as appropriate for projects or categories, managing competitive bids, negotiating and awarding contracts, resolving supplier and contract issues, ensuring adherence to Procurement Policy, creating and driving savings and other incentives and any other procurement activity required to support the four Global Business Areas (Places, Mobility, Resilience, Intelligence) and Enabling Functions. The Procurement Specialist will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, principles, and practices to be applied in the engineering and construction industry, with experience in program management and project types including consulting, environmental engineering, and design-build.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Manage Canada Source to Invoice processes including:

- Lead change management (communications, planning, support) within ANA Canada for internal users and suppliers to drive adoption of the Oracle PR/PO process and other approved buying channels.
- Builds relationships through multiple stakeholder channels to gain support for preferred approaches and strategies.
- Ensure adherence to and support Procurement policies, procedures, and systems to implement a uniform method of work approaches that delivers exceptional performance values for Arcadis and its clients.
- Working with equivalents in Accounts Payable for activities including firm handshakes/handoff of taxonomy that is shared
- Working with equivalents in DtR team to support handshakes/handoff of taxonomy that overlaps with role
- Support Direct and Indirect Procurement to maintain purchasing documents (controls)
- Support Direct and Indirect Procurement by identifying business needs and:

- Understand supply base capabilities and market drivers.
- Implement agreed sourcing strategies.
- Manage supplier selection and development
- Identify principal risks and opportunities and support the project teams to mitigate them.
- Ensure suppliers demonstrate capability to consistently supply goods & services to required quality and delivery performance standards.
- Lead sourcing events, negotiations and contract awards
- Managing the Supply Chain & relationships through regular reviews of KPI in conjunction with business stakeholders.
- Proactively work cross-functionally both within ANA and Global Procurement and other stakeholders to share knowledge and leverage best practices.
- Constantly seek ways to improve and enhance processes for internal Procurement users, project teams and suppliers.
- Establish program, users, and lifecycle process in compliance with global Procurement policies and in alignment with the strategies of Global procurement leaders.
- Support Arcadis Sustainability and cost savings goals

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- 7+ years of Procurement experience in an engineering, construction, infrastructure, or similar industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or similar field
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred) and implementations is a must
- Experience navigating change and implementing change management techniques/processes with stakeholders
- Self-starter with proven performance with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
