Job Summary
The Graphic & Digital Media Designer plays a key role in shaping and elevating the organization's visual and digital presence. This role is responsible for producing high-quality graphics, video content, and multimedia assets across all platforms. The position requires a blend of creative vision, technical skill, and collaboration with the marketing team to support brand consistency, campaign objectives, and organizational impact. This role strengthens Build a Dream's mission by enhancing its visual storytelling, digital engagement, and overall brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Produce compelling graphics for websites, social media, print materials, digital campaigns, and advertisements.
Capture and edit short-form video content for social media, events, and promotional campaigns using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.
Develop multimedia content including motion graphics, reels, animations, and visual storytelling pieces.
Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and implement design and video solutions that align with campaign goals and marketing strategies.
Maintain strong brand consistency across all graphic, video, and digital media projects.
Liaise with external printers, photographers, videographers, and contractors to ensure quality and adherence to deadlines.
Assist in selecting photographs, artwork, and visual elements for digital and print materials.
Contribute creative ideas, design concepts, and digital strategies for team initiatives.
Take initiative in producing unique and meaningful visual and video content aligned with Build a Dream's mission and audience needs.
Support virtual and hybrid events with digital assets, visual presentations, and multimedia production.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field.
Experience
Required: 3+ years of experience in graphic design, digital media, or multimedia production.
Required: Proven experience producing and editing video content for social, digital, or event-based platforms.
Required: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent).
Asset: Experience with Canva, motion graphics, animation tools, or social-first video creation.
Skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple projects efficiently and accurately.
Strong time-management skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with virtual event production.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and content creation.
