About Us

We are a fast-growing beauty brand dedicated to innovation, education, and elevating industry standards. Our content reaches a global community of artists and professionals, and we're looking for a Social Media Strategist who can take our digital presence to the next level.

About the Role

We're seeking a creative, self-motivated, and highly independent Social Media Strategist to lead our content strategy, execution, and community growth across both our brand The Lash Shop and our sister brand The Brow Shop. This role requires someone who excels at storytelling, thrives under tight deadlines, and is comfortable both directing content and being on camera. You'll be responsible for both strategic planning and hands-on content creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic social media plan across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and education initiatives.
  • Create high-quality content—including videos, reels, tutorials, storytelling-based posts, graphics, lifestyle content, and UGC briefs.
  • Appear on camera confidently for tutorials, product education, behind-the-scenes content, and brand storytelling.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize strategies to increase engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Manage and grow community engagement through comments, DMs, and proactive community-building.
  • Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies to keep the brand ahead.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, education, product development, and design teams.
  • Work independently with minimal direction and take full ownership of deliverables.
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining consistent quality and brand voice.
  • Stay proactive—anticipating needs, proposing ideas, and taking initiative on new content opportunities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally across all internal teams.
  • Maintain strong organizational systems for content planning, assets, and timelines.
  • Take on additional responsibilities based on evolving business needs.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Comfortable being on camera and representing the brand in video content.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Highly proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Experience growing social media channels with measurable results.
  • Creative direction skills and the ability to produce your own content.
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, best practices, and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of beauty or cosmetic industry trends (lash/brow experience is a bonus).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • On-site parking
