**Responsibilities**:
1. Content Creation:
- Develop and design engaging content tailored to each social media platform, ensuring consistency with the brand’s voice and style.
2. Content Editing:
- Edit and proofread all social media content, ensuring it is error-free, engaging, and adheres to brand guidelines.
3. Photography:
- Capture high-quality photographs for social media posts, campaigns, and promotions, showcasing products, events, or company culture.
4. Videography:
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos for social media, including short clips, reels, stories, and longer-form content to enhance engagement and storytelling.
6. Ad Copy Writing:
- Write compelling ad copy for social media advertisements that captures attention and drives clicks, conversions, and sales.
7. Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, advertisements, and campaigns using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design software.
8. Social Media Strategy Development:
- Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
9. Platform Management:
- Oversee day-to-day management of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok), including posting, monitoring, and responding to comments and messages.
10. Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics for social media campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to improve future strategies.
11. Community Engagement:
- Foster and manage relationships with followers, responding to comments, questions, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
12. Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
13. Influencer Partnerships:
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach and credibility.
14. Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising, contests, and special promotions, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
15. Trend Monitoring:
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into strategies to keep the brand current and competitive.
16. Crisis Management:
- Handle any social media crises or negative feedback professionally, mitigating damage and maintaining the brand’s reputation.
Qualifications:
Qualifications for a Social Media Manager
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing or social media management can be an advantage.
2. Experience:
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field. Experience in a similar role within a digital marketing agency or related industry is preferred.
3. Skills and Competencies:
- Content Creation: Strong ability to create engaging and relevant content across various social media platforms.
- Editing: Excellent proofreading and editing skills, ensuring all content is error-free and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Photography and Videography: Proficiency in capturing and editing high-quality photos and videos.
- Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or similar software.
- Copywriting: Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling ad copy and engaging posts.
- Analytics: Proficiency in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to measure performance and generate reports.
- SEO and SEM: Basic understanding of SEO principles and SEM campaigns to optimize social media content for search engines.
4. Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of web design and development is a plus.
