Job Description: Mandarin & English Bilingual Sales Representative

Target Market: Metro Vancouver's Mandarin-speaking homeowners, contractors, and developers.

The Opportunity:
You will be the primary ambassador for Pure Floors within the Mandarin-speaking community. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role designed for a driven individual who thrives on variety and direct customer engagement. You will generate new business through proactive outreach, provide expert service in our showroom, and build relationships at the customer's doorstep, directly contributing to our growth in this key market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Channel Sales Prospecting & Closing:
- Cold Calling: Make strategic outbound calls using provided scripts and lead lists to identify potential customers, book appointments, and generate interest.
- Door-to-Door Sales: Visit targeted residential areas, new construction developments, and contractor offices across Metro Vancouver to introduce Pure Floors, offer in-home estimates, and secure new business.
- Showroom Sales: Provide outstanding, consultative service to walk-in clients in our showroom. Guide customers through selections, answer technical questions, and manage the sales process from quote to close.
- Bilingual Client Relations:
- Conduct all sales activities fluently and professionally in both Mandarin and English.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with Mandarin-speaking clients by understanding their specific needs and project goals.
- Clearly explain product features, installation processes, warranties, and provide detailed quotes.
- Conduct diligent follow-up on all leads via phone, email, and popular social platforms (e.g., WeChat).
- Sales Support & Collaboration:
- Accurately track all leads, customer interactions, and sales activities in our company CRM.
- Work closely with our installation and project coordination team to ensure seamless project handoff and ultimate customer satisfaction.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and ongoing product training.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills):
- Full professional fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) and English is mandatory.
- Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in home improvement, retail, telecom, or B2C services. Experience with cold calling or door-to-door sales is a significant advantage.
- A "hunter" mentality—self-motivated, resilient, goal-oriented, and skilled at opening new doors and building rapport quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in the field and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation required for daily travel within Metro Vancouver.
- Flexible to work a schedule that includes some weekends (showroom hours).
- Familiarity with flooring, construction, or design is a plus, but comprehensive training on our specific products will be provided.
