Job Overview

Tasco Appliances is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the retail and trade community. You will build strong relationships with designers, custom home builders, cabinet makers, and architects while identifying new opportunities that increase revenue and strengthen our market leadership. Working closely with our Design Relations Team and sales leadership, you'll play a key role in expanding our trade partnerships.

Duties

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Build and strengthen relationships within the design and home builder community
  • Support and host value-add industry events and networking initiatives
  • Attend trade shows to uncover insights and growth potential
  • Conduct client-focused consultations and negotiate agreements
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and deliver regular sales reporting
  • Achieve sales targets while supporting the design relations team
  • Stay current on product, design, and technology trends

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience (appliance, design, or related industry)
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or related field
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to meet goals in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Highly organized with strong strategic thinking
  • Proficiency using CRM and modern technology tools

Physical Demands:

  • Able to move with ease throughout; sitting, standing, walking intervals.
  • Able to sit at a computer work station/ desk for minimum 3 hours intervals.
