Job Summary

We are looking for experienced drivers to join our team. We have an opening for an experienced Oil Flied Fluid Hauler. We're a small family owned expanding company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting various goods safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. Equipment is all new, clean & well maintained. No Smoking. No pets. Must be ready & willing to work 15 hour days while on shift.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport loads to designated locations while adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
  • Load and unload using appropriate equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of loads.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor, dispatchers and other team members regarding transportation schedules, loads and any issues that arise during transit.
  • Ensure compliance with Transport Canada & site safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Skills

  • Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. MUST have 3 years industry specific experience. This is an insurance requirement.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus to assist in maintaining vehicle functionality. Must have some mechanical ability.
  • Ability to manage assigned loads efficiently & while adhering to Transport requirements & all other safety requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
  • Be prepared to work full 15 hour days while on shift.
