Overview

We are a sub-contractor seeking a dedicated and experienced class 1 driver with at least 1 year verifiable driving experience to join our team in the Bonnyville, AB area. We are willing to train the right individual to haul oil. This role involves transporting and handling oil safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and be able to operate a manual transmission. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, reliability, and professionalism are paramount.

Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a requirement.

Responsibilities

Safely operate fluid hauling equipment to transport fluid to designated locations.

Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported and delivery times.

Follow all safety procedures related to hazardous materials handling and transportation regulations.

Coordinate with dispatchers and team members to ensure timely deliveries

Experience

Proven experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in fluid or freight transportation.

Prior experience with industrial or commercial driving regulations is preferred.

Strong understanding of safety standards related to hazardous materials transportation.

Ability to operate heavy machinery confidently and efficiently in various conditions. This role requires a responsible individual committed to safety, punctuality, and quality service delivery. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and possess a strong work ethic to succeed in this vital transportation position.
