Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Crude Oil Hauler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting crude oil from production sites to designated facilities while adhering to all safety regulations and operational guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tanker trucks to transport crude oil safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs of transportation activities, including delivery times and quantities.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of crude oil at designated facilities.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow all company policies related to safety, environmental protection, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (class 1)
  • Proven experience in hauling hazardous materials or crude oil is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading cargo.
