We are looking for a reliable and experienced Labourer / Shop Hand to support our field and shop operations. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day shop activities, including organizing materials, maintaining equipment, and keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Support field crews as needed with general labour tasks such as bolt-up, torquing, rigging, threading, and basic mechanical work.
  • Load and unload trucks, move materials, and prepare tools/equipment for job sites.
  • Assist with yard management, including inventory handling, tagging, and staging materials.
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support welders, pipefitters, and other trades as required.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and participate in toolbox meetings and hazard assessments
  • Perform other labour and shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Local to GP, no out of town applicants will be considered
  • Familiar with shop setting
  • Previous oilfield experience is preferred
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to load and haul trailers/ preform hot shots
  • Understanding of basic hand tools and construction equipment – willing to train
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Priority to those with Telehandler and Loader operating experience

Opportunity to become an apprentice in a variety of trades if desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$33.00 per hour
