Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surrey, BC, for an Inside Sales Representative at I-XL Building Products. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, providing product recommendations, and maintaining accurate documentation of sales transactions. The role includes building strong relationships with clients, supporting the external sales team, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. The candidate will also assist with product knowledge and technical inquiries to meet the unique needs of customers in the architectural and building industries.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client interactions
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for processing orders and maintaining accurate documentation
- Technical knowledge or an ability to quickly learn about masonry, architectural products, and building materials
- Experience with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, especially in the building materials or construction industry, is a strong asset
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an asset
