Job description:

The Inside Sales Associate plays a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building customer relationships, and brings strong organizational skills to the table.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Process daily invoices and ensure all orders are shipped by end of day
  • Handle incoming mail and process daily cheques, forwarding them to accounting
  • Support basic accounting tasks such as sending invoice copies
  • Process orders, non‑stock requests, and credit applications
  • Prepare and maintain internal reporting
  • Update and maintain customer records (addresses, site contacts, account details)
  • Provide product information, explain system functionality, and suggest alternatives
  • Follow up on back orders and open orders
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships
  • Maintain the front end by cleaning, restocking, and organizing merchandise
  • Support the orders team as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes (an asset)
  • Customer‑first mindset with strong problem‑solving skill
  • Experience using Netsuite (an asset)
