They are seeking anexperienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Vancouver. JobSummary: As theAccounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that allvendor invoices are processed accurately and on time. You will work closelywith other members of the finance team to ensure that all transactions arerecorded correctly and that all vendors are paid in a timely manner. You willalso be responsible for maintaining accurate records and assisting withmonth -end close processes. KeyResponsibilities: Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy of coding, pricing, and approvals.Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Assist with month -end close processes, including reconciling accounts payable balances and preparing accruals.Maintain accurate and up -to -date records in the accounting system.Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed. Requirements2+ years of experience in accounts payable.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Experience with accounting software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
