**Overview**

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Vancouver HQ As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll be reporting to our Accounting Manager and will work closely with our Logistics and Marketing teams to take ownership of the Accounts Payable process. In addition to being responsible for the payables function, you will also be supporting the month end close process.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Responsible for accurate data entry and posting of high-volume invoices (i.e. PO and non-PO)
- Perform various bank transactions (preparing wires and ACH payments) and bank reconciliations
- Upload bank and credit card statements
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations and purchase order matching with vendor bills
- Design and implement new processes and procedures to yield greater accuracy and timeliness for invoice inputs
- Assist with month-end/year-end accruals
- Provide other administrative support as required to the team

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Excel and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
