This role is accountable for leading production execution in alignment with the Mirion Factory Development System (MFDS)—building a culture of disciplined daily management, safe execution to plan, and continuous improvement.

  • Translate the Master Production Schedule into daily production priorities, ensuring alignment of resources, materials, and capacity.
  • Lead the site's tiered daily management system, driving accountability, escalation, and problem-solving at each level.
  • Maintain a culture of safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all work processes.

Performance & Problem Solving

  • Identify and manage bottlenecks, constraints, and capacity imbalances, implementing countermeasures through structured root-cause analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to remove barriers that prevent adherence to schedule or customer commitments.
  • Monitor and report performance against key metrics (S, Q, D, C), leveraging data to make informed decisions and drive corrective action.

People Development & Engagement

  • Build workforce flexibility and capability through systematic cross-training and skills matrix management.
  • Coach and develop frontline leaders and operators to strengthen daily problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
  • Foster an environment of ownership, accountability, and engagement aligned with MFDS principles.

Continuous Improvement

  • Champion MFDS standards in visual management, standardized work, and leader standard work.
  • Drive kaizen events and structured improvement activities focused on eliminating waste, improving flow, and stabilizing processes.
  • Partner with Engineering and Quality to ensure manufacturing processes are robust, capable, and continuously improved.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, ideally within a lean/continuous improvement culture.
  • Proven experience managing daily production operations tied to a formal master schedule.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
