Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager, based in Cambridge, ON. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing procurement activities, negotiating contracts, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials. Additional tasks include monitoring inventory levels, streamlining supply chain processes, and coordinating purchases to align with project requirements and company budget goals. The role will also involve working closely with cross-functional teams to support the successful completion of energy projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management
  • Experience in contract negotiation, budgeting, and cost control
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with supply chain management practices and inventory systems
  • Previous experience in the energy or manufacturing industry is a strong asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
