Weston Forest is looking for a motivated Commodity Buyer (Hardwood & Infrastructure) to support our expanding procurement operations in hardwood and panel products across North America.

What You'll Do:
Own the Supply Chain
- Source hardwood and panel products under the guidance of Product Managers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure optimal value and supply consistency.
- Monitor market and mill activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
Drive Efficiency
- Track and forecast inventory to anticipate product needs.
- Support Product Managers in stock reconciliations, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination.
Collaborate for Results
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Logistics to deliver exceptional service and timely deliveries.
- Represent Weston Forest at industry tradeshows, supplier facilities, and sawmills across Canada and the U.S.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Background in lumber, sawmill, or related industries an asset.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Willingness to travel regularly within Canada and occasionally to the U.S.
- Valid driver's license, reliable access to a vehicle, and passport are required.
