Weston Forest is looking for a motivated Commodity Buyer (Hardwood & Infrastructure) to support our expanding procurement operations in hardwood and panel products across North America.

What You'll Do:

Own the Supply Chain

• Source hardwood and panel products under the guidance of Product Managers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure optimal value and supply consistency.
• Monitor market and mill activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.

Drive Efficiency

• Track and forecast inventory to anticipate product needs.
• Support Product Managers in stock reconciliations, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination.

Collaborate for Results

• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Logistics to deliver exceptional service and timely deliveries.
• Represent Weston Forest at industry tradeshows, supplier facilities, and sawmills across Canada and the U.S.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Background in lumber, sawmill, or related industries an asset.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Willingness to travel regularly within Canada and occasionally to the U.S.
• Valid driver's license, reliable access to a vehicle, and passport are required.

This role is based onsite in Mississauga, Ontario , with regular travel to supplier facilities and industry events across North America.
