*The Role
We are currently searching for an
Operations Administrator
, reporting to the Supervisor, Operations. This is a
12-month, full-time contract*
opportunity. Candidates will primarily work the afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm), however, flexibility to work all shifts including weekends is necessary to succeed in this role. The Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily operations and administrative tasks that support overall logistics efficiency.

Onsite at the Calgary Distribution Centre

*What You'll Be Doing*

• Daily reporting and ongoing verification/compilation of paperwork
• Support operations working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Effective communication and customer service skills as this position requires direct contact with internal and external customers or third-party carriers
• Scheduling inbound and outbound load appointments with flexibility
• Investigating and completing customer credit requests
• Building load manifests
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
*Education*

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• Preferable experience with SAP, and/or similar ERP systems experience using business process management software
• Experience working within a dispatch or warehouse environment would be preferable

Skills

• Exceptional data-entry speed and accuracy
• Proven ability to produce accurate, efficient and timely documentation
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
