Inside Technical Sales, Process Analytical Products

The Opportunity

Tundra has an opening for a Process Analytical Products Inside Sales Specialist role, based in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will be a technical sample system design authority and applications professional who reflects their corporate commitment to being responsive to our customers' unique needs. The successful individual will have a proven track record of design and implementation of process analytical sample systems and process analyzer inside sales. They thrive in an environment that is client-focused and is skillful at maintaining a high degree of contact customers through the design and order cycle.

The Role

• Will be a technical sample system design authority and process analytical applications professional.
• Is motivated by providing custom design solutions to meet customer needs and works eagerly to attain the maximum potential in each and every customer interaction.
• Builds knowledge base through taking personal initiative and has the aptitude to be able to clearly communicate the technical solution to the customer.
• Displays an outgoing personality and easily initiates conversations with clients.
• Displays the type of personality that can easily and clearly communicate a polite persona over the phone.
• Can liaise with manufacturing to ensure the customer needs are being met.
• Shows the ability to adapt and can think on their feet while overcoming customer objections or sourcing out the best solution for a technical requirement.
• Displays an assertive but collaborative approach to sales.
• Receives client orders for products and accurately communicates orders to the appropriate departments.
• Communicates with cross functional departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

The Candidate 

• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Process Analytical Sample System Design in a technical role focused on Gas and Liquids Process Analytical Products.
• Ability to design, size, select and supply equipment to support all Sample Systems and Sample Handling; including design, drawings, fabrications, and electrical.
• Experience in Design and Drafting Programs including CAD.
• Ability to size, select and supply equipment to support all Gas Analytical Products including Continuous Gas Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, Moisture, CEMS, Combustion, etc.
• Ability to size, select and supply equipment to support all Liquid Analytical Products including PH, Conductivity, Turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen, Chlorine, BOD, COD, Colour, Quality etc.
• Technical Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution required. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory in English.
• Proficient in working with an ERP System
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
