Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with familiarity with Micros POS systems. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills, enhance customer interaction abilities, and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Manage POS transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
  • Ensure all food safety and food handling procedures are followed diligently
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Handle cashing out customers efficiently with accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Comply with all health regulations and safety standards within the food industry

Experience

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
  • Basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
