Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for credit card and payment systems.
  • Lead and support initiatives across multiple credit card lifecycle domains, including:
  • Origination: Application intake, underwriting, and approval workflows.
  • Servicing: Account maintenance, customer service processes, and ongoing support.
  • Collections: Delinquency management, recovery strategies, and compliance alignment.
  • Rewards: Points accrual, redemption, and loyalty program management.
  • Disputes: Chargeback handling, fraud control, and compliance investigations.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories for development and QA teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, and Product) to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and Waterfall project phases where applicable.
  • Develop detailed documentation, process diagrams, and workflows using Visio, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.
  • Manage and maintain JIRA boards, ensuring traceability of requirements through the entire development lifecycle.
  • Support testing and validation efforts, including UAT coordination, defect tracking, and production verification.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across business, technical, and leadership levels, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Domain Expertise:

  • Card Application: Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Payments: Hands-on experience with payment rail operations — ACH, SWIFT, FedWire, RTP — and account management, compliance, and collections.
  • Dispute Management: Skilled in chargebacks, fraud detection, and escalation handling aligned with compliance frameworks.
  • Account Management: Experience managing card activations, credit line adjustments, and customer data updates.
  • Balance & Settlements: Exposure to cash advances, refunds, fee assessments, financial reporting, cash flow, and settlement reconciliations.
