Summary:

  • We are looking for an employee who is flexible and adaptable to the individuals being supported and who can work in a team environment with other staff members and is able to work independently. Experience with FASD and behavioural support would be an asset. This position works with three female individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Disability Supports and/or related education preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.
  • A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
  • Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification.
  • Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver's license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.
  • Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.

  • $ This is dependent on education. Benefits are available after 90 day Qualifying Period.
