Hours: 4on 4off Rotation,

Classification: CDSW

Summary:

  • This position supports three males in their home with full personal care, medication administration and home living skills. Experience and comfort with lifts, wheelchairs, and tube feed/G tube is an asset. Physical demands of the job include bathing supports, lift and transfers, partial physical support, and full physical support. This position is an awake overnight, and requires a great amount of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, strong time management, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Disability Supports and/or related education preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.
  • A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
  • Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification.
  • Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver's license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.
  • Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.

Salary: $21.69 – $26.49 This is dependent on education.
