POSITION: Director of Individual Supports

  • Full- Time (35 hours/week),

  • Generally working M-F 9am-4pm in Magrath with some days being required to work in the Lethbridge office.

  • Flexibility is also required in working evenings and weekends as required for the position.

START DATE: December 10th, 2025 (Orientation and training

will start as soon as successful Candidate is found).

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Individual Support Services is a senior management role with broader strategic, operational, and service area responsibility. This position has the responsibility for input to the organization's strategic agenda and leadership responsibility for a significant aspect of the agency's individual supports and services. This position works with the Executive Director, senior management team, and Coordinator positions to ensure that all aspects of individual supports and services are delivered at a professional level and according to SASH policies and procedures.

The Director of Individual Supports is primarily responsible for the overall operations of the agency's outcome-based service delivery system, policies, procedures, and individual supports and services.

This position will be responsible for maintaining confidential personnel records, communicating appropriately with employees, staff, contractors, management teams, and the Executive Director.

This position works independently while receiving minimal supervision and guidance.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director and will oversee all aspects of Individual service delivery and supports, by supporting and directing the Coordinator-level positions as outlined and in accordance with their job descriptions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Preferred educational level of a bachelor's degree in human resources or Disability and Community Rehabilitation.

  2. A 2-year Diploma in Disability and Community Rehabilitation with extensive related managerial experience will be considered.

  3. 6-8 years of progressive managerial experience working in the sector with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset.

  4. Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  5. Standard First Aide, CPR, and SIVA are required.

SALARY: $37.86/hr and includes an excellent benefit package.
