Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide essential care. Assistance to an individual with disability whom is 27 in various settings, including community outings, and in-home care environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for the client with diverse needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalized support and caregiving. She is a fun loving young lady and just needs some help

Duties

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Administer medications following care plans
  • Provide patient care during activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
  • Support client with developmental disabilities
  • Assist with household chores including cleaning to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • Support social engagement activities to promote mental health and community participation
  • Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid,

Experience

  • Prior experience working in/outof home environments preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
  • Knowledge of medication administration
  • Certifications such as CPR, first aid, or nursing assistant training are preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with disabilities
  • Enjoys to play games and be like a teenager some times
