Front Desk Agent

Isaiah Tubbs Resort is seeking front desk agents that will serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. A front desk agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Greet guests by phone or in person with a friendly welcoming manner
- Learn and operate hotel reservation system
- Handle guest check ins and check outs confidently and professionally
- Verify guest payment method and post payments
- Be knowledgeable of all room locations, room specs and hotel amenities
- Contact housekeeping, maintenance or runner when problem is reported
- Follow daily check lists provided by Front Desk Manager
- Tend to guest inquiries and complaints in a respectful manner, while following company policies and procedures
- Communicate with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner
- Light cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping and dusting.
- Complete any other duties assigned by Shift Supervisors or Managers
**Skills/Experience**:
- Strong communication skills in English, both written & verbal are essential. Bilingual French and English is considered an asset, but not required
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills
- Evenings, weekends, holiday shifts and some day shifts are required
- Work well in a team setting but also self-motivated to work alone
- Punctual, reliable, organized and responsible
- Has a reliable source of transportation

Pay: $17.20 per hour
