We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
  • Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow proper food safety protocols during meal preparation and service
  • Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks effectively
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in the food industry or related fields such as catering or hospitality is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
