is a non-profit organization supporting early to growth-stage entrepreneurs in the food & beverage and health & wellness Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry across Canada.

We are currently recruiting for the position of
Communications and Content Lead
to join our team in Calgary, AB (in person).

About the role:

This role will contribute to the success of Venturepark in support of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) entrepreneurs across Canada. The Communication and Content Lead will focus on initiatives related to the Venturepark Growth Hub online platform that is
designed to provide entrepreneurs with curated resources, industry networking and a founder community.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design high quality content for external publications aligned with Venturepark brand guidelines
  • Lead planning and facilitation of high impact educational webinars within Venturepark network of industry experts and alumni
  • Support evolution of the Venturepark Growth Hub design, content, industry network and founder community engagement
  • Manage WordPress platform, identify and lead ongoing UX improvements with developer
  • Support planning and facilitation of Venturepark in person public facing events
  • Occasional travel to industry events across Canada

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage target audiences
  • Confident public speaker with ability to host webinars and speak at company events
  • Excellent content editorial skills
  • Excellent ability to build industry and founder connections
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Highly skilled with design tools such as Canva and Adobe
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in WordPress platform and performance monitoring tools (ex: Google Analytics)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive program improvements

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Over 3 years' experience in the CPG industry and/or entrepreneurship support ecosystem
  • Post-secondary education, preferably related to the fields of business, communications, or marketing
  • Experience leading initiatives that require collaboration and relationship building
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
